Casa Aroméa is an independent candle atelier in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, creating Italian-inspired fragrances for homes, hospitality and gifting. We work with hotels, spas, restaurants, wedding venues, retailers and other businesses looking for distinctive candles and thoughtfully considered fragrance.

Our candles are hand-poured in small batches in Hitchin using a paraffin-free rapeseed and coconut wax blend.

A carefully developed fragrance collection

Casa Aroméa currently offers six fragrances across two collections.

Coastal Italy brings together bright citrus, neroli, sea air and mineral freshness through Capri, Positano and Portofino.

Italian Cities explores warmer woods, leather, resins and incense through Firenze, Roma and Milano.

Candles are available in small and large sizes. Personalised three-candle gift sets can also be created using any combination of our six fragrances.

Local collaboration

Casa Aroméa was founded in Hitchin by Martin, the person behind the concept and creation of the collection. A scientist by profession, he applies a careful and methodical approach to fragrance development, wick performance and candle quality.

We are particularly interested in working with independent businesses where the fragrance, presentation and partnership feel genuinely appropriate.

All profits from Casa Aroméa candle sales support Martin’s 2027 charity trek, raising funds for two charities working in Africa.
