About Casa Aroméa

Casa Aroméa began as a simple creative project between my daughter and me.

What started as time spent making candles together quickly became a real interest in fragrance, materials and the way scent can completely change the feeling of a room. Over time, that shared hobby grew into a thoughtfully crafted collection inspired by places, memories and the atmosphere of Italy.

Italy felt like the natural place to begin. We have spent a lot of time there together as a family, visiting the coast and exploring its cities, so the places behind the collections feel personal to us.

My background is in pharmaceutical science, so I tend to approach candle making in the same way: test, refine and keep going until everything feels right. Each candle is made with a paraffin-free rapeseed and coconut wax blend, and developed with close attention to its wick, fragrance balance, vessel, label and overall aesthetic.

We encourage customers to keep their large candle vessels. A refill option is currently in development to help keep them in use for longer.

The Coastal Italy Collection captures light, citrus and sea air through Capri, Positano and Portofino. The Italian Cities Collection explores warmer, deeper atmospheres through Firenze, Roma and Milano.

Each candle is hand-poured in small batches in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, with care given to every stage of the process.

Casa Aroméa is about creating fragrance with a sense of place — thoughtful, expressive and made to bring a little of Italy into the home.
